Sunday June 12th, 2016

This day started off with a bit of excercise at the gym with my family to prepare my mind and body for this week at school. We have our end of the year event where each class will represent a country with a dance and a little bit of fun facts. As a teacher I have to make a flag for the country my homeroom class will represent, which is India.
When I was done working out (it was leg day... that means OUCH!!), I read the most horrible news article. There was a shooting in Orlando, Florida at a nightclub. I can't imagine what a horrifying experience it was to be in that place and how the famly members of these inncoent people feel. How can there still be people that think this way? After all the development and evolution of the idea of a different sexuality orientation... some people still don't get it. My heart goes out these peoples loved ones.

So, back to my teacher duties. I bought some cloth to make the Indian flag and lost my mother for a full minute. Got a call from genius boyfriend to meet at the mall in a few hours just to accompany him to pay off some things,
Walking outside, the Sun is so bright and... SO HOT! Not very in the mood to stand in the sun only with my simple sunglasses on... so, I went inside a suermarket and found a beautiful rainbow umbrella! Can't get enough of it, I probably am slowly turning into a unicorn (long life dream, haha).
When I got back home, I ate some delicious quesadillas and got ready to meet the BF.
Not a very eventful Sumday, but for what it was, I'll take it as a happy one.

Wonder of The World - Chichén Itzá 2016
My name is Ana Paulina. I am a recent graduate with a degree in pedagogy and pursuing a masters in language teaching. I live in Mexico and afortunatley in one of the most beautful cities this country has to offer.
I've been convinced by my family, friends and including my students to start writing a blog about my life adventures (since I'm pretty good at telling stories and sometimes making a bad situation in a positive one).
I recently started my profession as a certified english as a second language teacher in a nice primary school in the city where I live. It's been the most rewarding experience because everyday I put to the test all of my life and academic skills I've gained through the years and have gained outstanding results.
Apart from the laboral aspects of this part of my life, I've learned to get to know and care very much for my students as they do for me. This is the part that makes me very happy and fulfilled with what I do for a living.
I have a family taht is the most supportive pilars in my life, a civil / hydraulic engineer genious boyfriend, best silly friends from college, and helpful co-workers. All of these play an important role in my adventures and help me see the world (as I repeatedly tell my students) in best way possible.
I hope this blog results to be something fun to look back on and also help me remember everyday that each day is special.
